Hello ACTLABbians!

Update from the cold north... since leaving ACTLAB I have been working
at SAIC in Chicago and co-directing the Motion Graphics Festival
(http://mgFest.com).  I petitioned to host an Austin Motion Graphics
Festival in 2009 and are looking for advice and support.

++ About the Fest ++

Basically, we host some educational workshops during the day and throw
crazy-cool parties at night.  The collectors for the festival are
Motion Design, Sound Design for Motion, and Motion Interactivity.
Last year we hosted workshops as varied as circuit bending, ableton
live, 3d, kiosk design and talk plenty about after effects and flash.

++ What we Need ++

Right now we are looking for organizations that would like to be
associated with the event in exchange for helping to make this an
amazing experience for participants. No money, just creative energy.

We are also going to want to feature art: motion-picture art, sound
art, installation art, web art, performance art, new art, art fu,
fill-in-the-blank...  Do you have some?  a call for entry will be
ready soon.
