[efh] Website Dilemna - PLEASE HELP

Dear one and all,
Ok, maybe someone can help me out here. I'm trying to make my website and
have hit a problem. This is my first time using Dreamweaver so please bear
with me. I downloaded a template from an open source web design site, and
have modified it as I need. Unfortunately, I am having problems with the
navigation bar: it won't let me make link anything within it.

I have tried linking the text and, when that didn't work, putting images in
there and trying to link them. The rest of the page allows me to create
links. I know basic HTML, but am new to CSS and do not know if that has
something to do with my problem. If anyone can help, I would greatly
appreciate it.
